Let’s Celebrate!

Let’s Celebrate!

There’s nothing quite
like a global pandemic
to force change–
changes in your day-to-day routines,
changes in your social life,
changes in your business.

But change can be
a good thing, right?
So let’s celebrate!

Let’s celebrate those small
(or large!) changes you’ve
made to your business!

Let’s appreciate all the
gains…big or little…
even if there weren’t
as many as you’d hope for.

Looking for MORE ways
to continue to build
your business, despite
an ongoing pandemic?

Check these out TODAY…
Then flip open your laptop
and get to work!

5 SMALL WAYS TO BUILD YOUR BUSINESS:

1. Update (or create!) Your LinkedIn Profile
Did you know, LinkedIn is the
largest professional
network in the world?
It’s true!
And LinkedIn can
benefit your business
in SO many ways!
New client connections,
Professional support network,
Helpful information in your niche,
Marketing and awareness of
your business…
and the list goes on.

Already on LinkedIn?
Great!
Have you…
Updated your profile recently?
Added new skills, services, and certifications?
Expanded your network?
No?
Start today!

Don’t have a LinkedIn profile?
Now is a GREAT time to create one!
Showcase who you are and the services
your business provides…
Then start making connections,
building your network, and
collaborating with colleagues
all over the world!

2. Start a Newsletter
If your business is slow or
you’ve closed temporarily,
staying in touch with your clients
is a crucial step for continuing
to grow your business…even if
your business isn’t “open!”

And a newsletter is the
perfect way to do that!
A newsletter allows you to…
stay connected,
provide helpful information
and services,
establish trust as an expert in your niche,
reassure your clients you are still
there for them, even if not “in-person”
right now.
All essential parts of any
successful business!

Plus, a consistent newsletter keeps you at
the front of your clients’ minds,
as a partner they can count on,
available and willing to help when they
need you.
And isn’t that the ultimate goal of your business
anyway?
To always help your client in the very
best way possible?
Yep, mine too!

3. Optimize Your Website
With more people online, your website is
more important than ever before.
Maximize your online presence by
making sure people can FIND you!

There are TONS of free SEO tools
and resources to help!
Two favorites:
Moz.com and
neilpatel.com
Keywordtool.io is new to me,
but looks promising.
Check it out!

Remember, you don’t need to be
an SEO expert to make your
website more visible to the search
engines (and your potential clients!)
Just select a few key words for
your niche and incorporate them
into your webpages, in a smooth,
easy-to-read way.
ANY keywords you can add will make
a difference!

4. Develop a lead generator on your website
Now that people can FIND your website,
offer something helpful and beneficial to
keep them interested…and to build
your list of potential clients!

What to offer?
How about:
a free newsletter,
a free list of niche resources,
a helpful guide or e-book,
a check list for a project…
The options are literally endless!

But here’s the key:
Easy sign-up with limited
personal information.
Requesting too much personal
information scares people (your
potential clients) away!
So just ask for an email address
and maybe a first name–
that’s it!
But that’s enough.

Capturing email addresses allows you to
generate a list of contacts (or leads)
for future business.
Upcoming promotion?
Offering a special service?
Resources to share?
Now you’ll have a list of interested people
to send it to…
And a whole new group of potential
clients!

5. Expand your Social Media Presence.
The key to successful
social media marketing is
having a current platform,
posting relevant, helpful content,
and BEING ACTIVE!

Start with small steps that make a
BIG difference!
Update your business Facebook page
and ask people to “like” your page.
Not on Twitter?
Sign up and commit to frequent tweets!
Expand your connections on LinkedIn–
and start consistently posting relevant
content to build your professional network.
Create an Instagram following for your business–
a great visual of who you are and
what your business looks like.
That whole, “picture is worth a thousand words” thing?
It totally rings true here.
So use it…get your business noticed!

What do you think?
Sound do-able?
Go ahead, give one (or more!) of these ideas
a try and see YOUR business grow!
Even now.
Even during a pandemic.

But above all,
Be KIND to yourself.
These are difficult times… for all
of us and our businesses!
The many, many changes
can feel overwhelming
and chaotic.

Are you feeling paralyzed?
Unable to move forward?
I understand.
Take a deep breath.

Then choose just ONE thing.
Commit to it.
Set a long-range goal:
1 month.
3 months.
6 months.
And then take small steps,
EVERY DAY,
to reach that goal.

Make a weekly to-do list,
Make a daily to-do list.
Then, as you check things off your list,
CELEBRATE!
Celebrate ALL your successes–
big and small–ALWAYS!

See you on the trail,
